"Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’"

Matthew 19:14

The purpose of Cuba Candy Ministry (CCM) is to glorify God by supporting the evangelistic outreach of Bible Clubs throughout Cuba through the distribution of candy to children, thereby encouraging them to attend Bible Clubs where they hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

CCM shall receive tax-deductible contributions from churches, organizations, businesses, and individuals. All donated funds shall be used exclusively to purchase candy at wholesale prices in the United States and to pay the necessary transportation and shipping expenses required to deliver the candy to Cuba. The candy shall be transported to Miami, Florida, shipped to Havana, Cuba, and distributed through approximately 1,000 Bible Clubs, reaching an estimated 150,000 children each year.

CCM shall be governed by a Board of Directors consisting of seven members. All directors, officers, and volunteers shall serve without compensation. They shall freely contribute their time, talents, and services in carrying out the ministry's mission. Decisions of the Board shall be made by majority vote, with each director having one vote.

CCM shall not own or maintain offices, buildings, or vehicles unless such ownership becomes necessary to fulfill the ministry's purposes. Administrative functions shall, whenever practical, be conducted through the homes or offices of its volunteer officers and directors in order to minimize overhead expenses and maximize the use of donated funds for ministry purposes.

No part of the net earnings or assets of CCM shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributed to, any director, officer, member, or other private individual, except as permitted by law for reimbursement of approved ministry-related expenses. No officer, director, or volunteer shall personally profit, directly or indirectly, from the operations or assets of the corporation.

The purpose of CCM shall remain exclusively charitable, religious, and educational within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All assets of the corporation shall be used solely to further its mission of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the children of Cuba.
